For Sale —
Size +/- 8,730 SF
At the turn of the last century, Tonopah, Nevada, was a boomtown. The building that later became the center of Wolfe’s Desert Hardware was built in the early 1900’s, and was originally a hotel. In 1930, two additional buildings were constructed, one on each side of the hotel, and at some point the three buildings were connected. Jim Wolfe owned the hardware store that his father and grandfather ran before him as Wolfe’s Desert Ace Hardware, until his retirement in 1998.
The building is +/- 8,730 SF with +/- 1,900 SF of attic storage. The property is not move-in ready and will need some improvements, but could be restored into a beautiful testament to Nevada’s history.
The building is located in the center of Tonopah on Hwy. 95A. Just steps from the historic Mizpah and Belvada Hotels and is directly across the street from the post office. The Tonopah Brewing Company is one block away and enjoys success as a world-class Brew Pub. Also within walking distance is the Tonopah Historic Mining Park.
